Course Description
The objective of this course is to provide the Public Health workforce and community partners (EMS, police, fire, emergency room personnel, etc.) with key fundamental concepts related to the Incident Command System (ICS), the Standard Emergency Management System (SEMS) and the National Management System.
Learning Objectives
Participants will be able to:
- Describe the chain of command for their county.
- Identify and locate the agency Emergency Response Plan (or pertinent portion of the Plan).
- Describe their functional role in emergency response.
- List three functions of SEMS.
