Hospital staff administrators, safety officers, CEO's, IC nurses, and persons who may be assigned to the Incident Command Center during a disaster. Health clinic and skilled nursing facility staff are also welcome to attend.

Event Description
The Sonoma County Department of Health Services is pleased to offer a FREE HICS workshop to local hospitals, as part of the public health disaster preparedness planning efforts. Join your hospital colleagues and other local health professionals at this half-day workshop, where we will learn about HICS and practice its application for incident action planning. We will be using a scenario-based process to discuss and practice practical implementation of the Incident Action Plan (IAP) using HICS and the Incident Response Guide.
Check-in starts at 12:30 p.m.; the event starts promptly at 1:00 p.m. Light refreshments will be served. Please bring a sweater or jacket for comfort.
Learning Objectives
- Demonstrate the incident action planning process.
- Demonstrate the use of HICS forms.
- Implement the use of the Incident Response Guide.
